Cad

In this section we have 4 scanners, Nobel Procera, Dental Wings,3Shape and Exocad that we use according to the kind of work we have to realise, 2 milling machines Yenamak and Katana Noritake, 4 Pcs and 2 zirconia syntering ovens.

The model arrives from the fix prothesis section, ready to be scanned, after the scanning phase we start to design the frame with the CAD program. When it's done the Stl file is sent to the milling software which places the frame in a disk already memorized in the library of it, according to the parameters given by the brand, after this a NGC file is obtained, ready to be sent to the milling machine, to mill the frame we designed.

In the realisation of an abutment cad instead we first scan the model with a position locator inserted in the implant analogue, and after the gingiva. With this method we are able to design an abutment setting either the angolation and the transmucosal shape.

Another different technique is about an implant bridge realization where the work is not shaped by cad, but manually. The scan is executed on the wax-up which will be reproduced by our machine.

Temporaries

In this section we have 4 complete work locations with 2 full time employees, 3 Sam articulators, a polymerisator, 2 handpieces, a microscope, a curing lamp, a turbine, a sandblaster, a termoplastic disk vacuum and pressure printer.

The boxes with the jobs are taken from the technician that will sort them according to their deadlines. Read the labsheet we proceed with the different lavoration phases, that will start with a complete wax-up of the dentition, always supported by a Sam articulator occlusion and function are being checked, after this check we realize silicone masks that will guide us with precision on the transformation of the wax in resin.

In this section we also realise composite temporaries with any characterization.

Once all the wax-up is turned into curing, the temporary is finished using induction handpieces, checked again in occlusion and fuction and finally polished and sent for the shipping.

Whenever is requested, we insert reinforcements in the temporaries which can be made either fused and in glass fiber according to the dentist needs.

For the realization of the Bite Plane we use different ways, always according to the labsheet. The first needs the use of a vacuum formed mask where we will apply orthodontic curing to create interchange planes, the second tipology consists on inserting hooks and the orthodontic curing is applied directly on the model. For both Bite Plane tipologies we only use Dentaurum curings, and if needed anallergenic Dentaurum curings.

Equipments

In our laboratory we always have modern equipments thanks to our constant investments, which allow us to be indipendent in the production of every kind of manufacture.

 14 complete working locations, 5 of them with stereomicroscope, a SAM articulator provided to each one of them, to add to the ones dedicated to mount the models.

4 ceramic ovens, one of them is used for the pressing of the lithium silicate or ceramic, allow us to diversify the work phases and avoid contaminations; an oven is exclusively dedicated to metal's oxidation and cooking.

 The latest arrivals: the injection system Valplast to build Nylon prothesis, the Dream Frane system to build screw retained prothesis with Carbon Fiber frame. We also have 3 CAD-CAM scanners, 2 milling machines and 2 zirconia syntering ovens.

Guided implantology

We are able to provide the dentist with advice and technical support either in projecting (providing wax-ups and diagnostic masks), and in realising temporaries for immediate loading on most of the methodologies existent on the market.

Our decennial collaboration with universities raised considerably our experience on this sector, is known that most of the productor's brands lean on the universities to test their techniques, and providing the technical support to these tests, we had the chance to deepen our knowledge about the issues that may  happen in the realisation.

Wax-Up

The wax-up has a primary importance in our day routine, everything starts from this step, either on the simple restorations and on the full archs.

With the first Wax-Up, checked together with the dentist, we are able to understand which limits, esthetic or functionals, the job we are going to realise could have, so we can solve those problems already from the first temporary, if needed, and finally on the permanent, which we will be able to store with predictable results.

From the Wax-Up we get the diagnostic masks in case the dentist prefers to go for an assisted surgery.

Cad Cam

In this section we have 4 scanners, Nobel Procera, Dental Wings, 3Shape and Exocad that we use according to the kind of work we have to realise, 2 milling machines Yenamak and Katana Noritake, 4 Pcs and 2 zirconia syntering ovens.

The model arrives from the fix prothesis section, ready to be scanned, after the scanning phase we start to design the frame with the CAD program,

When it's done the Stl file is sent to the milling software which places the frame in a disk already memorized in the library of it, according to the parameters given by the brand, after this a NGC file is obtained, ready to be sent to the milling machine, to mill the frame we designed.

We use many kind of Zirconia according to our needs:

Zirconia Noritake Katana ML (multi-layered), a pre-shaded zirconia, the blank has an intense shade on the lower layer which gradually gets lighter until it gets the enamel shade on the top layer, this kind of Zirconia, also for its traslucency, is ideal to build full contour crowns.

Zirconia Noritake ZirPrime, pre-shaded wit low traslucency, which is used mostly for the construction of posterior teeth prothesis.

Zirconia Blu Zircon ( from Simex Italia), with High translucency on the anterior sections, this kind of Zirconia is manually shaded before syntering, with the right shades which can be used by immersion to get the same shade on every surface of the frame, or used by brush in order to shade the frame according to our needs.

All on Four

Regarding All on four/ All on six, we follow methods studied to solve cases in short time and with the least number of sessions with the patient.

For this kind of prosthesis we can use different materials:

Cr/Co – Ceramic;

Cr/Co – Resin;

Zirconia – Ceramic;

Titanium – Composite;

Titanium – Resin;

Carbon Fiber – Composite;

Carbon Fiber – Resin.

The way to realise it is similar for all the materials:

We start with the construction of a custom tray where impression transfers are blocked with resin during the detection.

On the model we obtained we build a resin bar to fix the temporary abutments, this bar has a double function, to verify the model congruity and to allow the detection of the vertical dimension on a fixed support.

We do the wax up taking consideration of the temporary and adding the changes asked by the dentist or by the patient.

We proceed with the wax scrap to obtain a frame that will have a different design according to the material that it will support, the wax up is scanned for the realisation of the frame with CAD-CAM.

In case of a carbon fiber-composite prothesis, before scraping the wax up is positioned in a mitten and a silicone counterstamp is taken which will be useful to press the composite on the frame (Dream Frame technique from DEI Italia).

Then the frame is tried on the patient with a resin estethic part already, obtained from the simple leakage of the white resin in a silicone stamp detected before the scrap of the wax, by doing this we save time, in a single session the dentist can try the frame and discuss with the patient on the esthetic of it.

Fixed Prothesis

We do fixed prothesis on natural teeth with the following materials:

Gold - Ceramic

Cr/Co – Ceramic

Zirconia – Ceramic

Lithium Disilicate

Gold – Composite

Titanium – Composite

Glass Fiber – Composite

In all these lavorations we developed in the last years operative prothocols to set our standard to a very high quality of our products.

Our products are checked in every step of the lavoration and we often discuss with the dentist via mail or phone, and with the use of images to make the product as most suitable as possible for the professional.
